One forum mate here , just got a $300 fine for not picking up
commuter after alighting one .
Fine $300 from LTA and 6 demerit TVDL points .
The Story :
On a busy Friday night , around 10.06pm , he picked up a
passenger to Scotts ParkRoyal ...... as usual long human Q waiting
at taxi stand .
This particular kaki of mine , alight passenger and zoomed off
with TAXI
sign .
Next day , some idiot people from the taxi stand lodge a
complaint against him for not picking up the paxes at that taxi
stand .
Was called in to Sin Ming Drive LTA's office drink kopi .
IO very nice , told him : " If u put BUSY , don't pick , i cannot do
anything ."
"But if u put TAXI and don't pick , we got
problem ."
"We also know you want to get $3
across the street at Orchard Road ."
All kind of stories .
"So u wait for our letter ."
My kaki thought case closed , warning can liao .
2 weeks later , knn received a Registered Article , from LTA
.
Open up , knn fined $300 for infringing the regulation .
